Guest guest Posted January 9, 2006 Report Share Posted January 9, 2006 I love coffee (especially espresso) too, as I'm a seattle girl at heart. We have a Starbucks barista and LOVE it. When away from home and starbucks, I like to make strong coffee with a french press (with my grandpa's recipe, good french roast freshly ground if possible, steeped with just after boiling water for 4 minutes)... or make thai/vietnamese coffee with my little stainless steel thing. Has anyone tried it? That stuff is STRONG- you use a dark french roast, roughly ground, and pour the boiling water into the little container and wait for it to slowly steep out into your cup. A little condensed milk and it is STRONG, excellent stuff.
