A baby grows all the time, yes it is true they do alot of growing

while sleeping, but they grow constantly. Even when we say they don't

grow during fevers, teething, and illness, it means that the growth

is extremely slow not non existant. Growth as they get older becomes

slower and more unpredictable as far as growth spurts go, but they do

happen. Sometimes you will go a month or so without noticable growth

and then need an adjustment the next time. Doc Band protocol says to

keep a band on 23 hours a day, but following that protocol is left up

to the parents, it is after all your baby and they cannot make you do

anything. All they can do is give you the protocl for treatment based

on the research and hope that you decide to follow it. It falls into

the same category as you can choose to end treatment at any time. I

had many times during band three that I thought is it worth this

little bit to keep the band on, but followed the protocol and I am so

glad I did.
