Guest guest Posted July 26, 2006 Report Share Posted July 26, 2006 To follow up Maureen's post last week about miscommunication between docs, I wanted to mention what happened Monday. Ahead of my appointment in Boston with the GI, I took the lab slip he'd filled out to my local GP's office to have blood drawn 3 weeks ago, and they copied the tests onto their own form. I requested the results and got them, but they failed to send them to the doctor who ORDERED the tests! I hadn't brought the results with me to the GI's - and then I couldn't reach the GP's office on the phone. Never again- I am going to be compulsive about this.
