Hope everyone is doing well, and having a great summer.... A quick update on me.... I'm still not working, and enjoying my summer off. I have finished my classes to become a daycare provider, and have mailed in my application package. Hopefully sometime in the early fall I'll be able to start taking kids... I am more relaxed, and at peace with myself than I have been in years.... My weight loss has slowed way down, but as of this morning I finally hit the 100 lb mark! Not bad for 8.5 months.... I am down to 182! I can't believe it... I can now shop in the regular section of the store. I now have choices on what I can wear. It is such wonderful feeling.... When I saw Dr. Thayer in May he told me he would like to see me loose another 30-40 lbs before my 1 year, and I have already done that! I am so grateful for this surgery and all of you! It turns out it was hit by lighting, fried the modem and the mother board... Pretty much had to replace the hard drive! Thank you all of you for your words of congratulations. 100lbs is a major milestone for me! No big celebration planned...
