Insurance question

Does anyone know what Asherman's Syndrome is officially classified as?

Is it a disease or a " condition " or what?

My old insurance company paid for my surgies and HSG's, but now I am

at the point that I may need fertility meds and an IUI. I have $2000

maximum lifetime on fertility- whoopie, that would cover 1 week of

injectibles! I also have a $500 deductible on fertility and a 1 year

waiting period (Blue Cross CA).

What I am trying to do is to get them to understand that none of this

would be necessary if the doctor hadn't screwed up in the first

place. Now it's getting sticky because they want to know what my old

insurance covered in order to set a president. I think they will be

willing to cover any surgeries needed but not IUI and meds. I'm

looking for a creative way around this and I'm not giving up until I

win!

Any suggestions?
