Canning session has been postponed until Wednesday when we have even

more beans. If you hear an explosion coming from western NC,

you'll know how it is going! LOL

Citrus Punch

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!

Busy day today a baby shower this morning and then my dh and I are

actually going out for the second time in almost 8 months. Since the little guy

and funds are short we have only gone out one other time. Kind of very nervous

to leave Skyler with a babysitter but our neighbors gave us movie tickets and a

gift certificate to our favorite restaraunt and their daughter will babysit

because we watched thier dog and garden for 3 weeks while they were away

traveling. Soooo we are going to see a movie and then we will do take out from

the restaraunt because neither one of us is comfortable having someone else put

him to bed so we will enjoy our take out at home.We usually order tow vegetable

dishes and then split a shrimp entree and we always lose wight this way, it is

very different from the way we used to order their but we enjoy it very much the

same.

We are having tacos tonight, I am making mine a taco salad though. I

will also have nacho chips and cheese sauce. The Old Elpaso cheese

and salsa dip that I bought is 2 TBSP sauce for 1 pt, not bad!So

will have a treat and have some cheese sauce and nacho chips too:)

Hi Zephyr,

Would you believe that my kids have NEVER been with a babysitter?!?! I really

mean that. When the boys were little and we lived next door to my Mom, she

would keep them, but other than that they have always been with us. Once in a

while they will go to a friends for a while. It is funny because now the boys

will talk about different kids at school that are ALWAYS in extended daycare

before and after school. They think that is terrible that they can't go home

with their parents, but the parents are working.

I am feeling much better this morning and since I didn't cook much over the

weekend I was feeling a little guilty. I got up early and made scones for Robin

and the kids. Robin actually took them into work at the office today. Then I

started a batch of fresh bread which is rising at the moment and started some

beef stew in the crock pot.

I really need to do the laundry and some cleaning today. I can't believe what a

mess it is after not doing much for a couple of days.

Good morning! TGIM!!(yes you heard me right-thank goodness it's

MONDAY!!) A fresh start, a new day, a chance to jump back on and do

it all again, only better, right??!! Tonight we are having--
