Guest guest
Hi all! It's Ann again, Joe's the patient, I'm the loving soul mate! Joe had his RAI (as some of you will remember) almost 3 weeks ago now. I've read signs/symptoms, etc. of hypo. Observant question of the day: Joe's eyes seemed very/abnormally red today. I asked him (as I have been every day since his treatment!): " How are you feeling today? " He said, " Fine. " Then I said, " Your eyes look really red today, are they bothering you at all? " To which he replied, " No, I'm just tired. " He's working a new job (HA! Life's weird, eh, when you get a great new job that starts 3 days after RAI!) and he's working 7PM to 4 AM shifts. He's really happy to be working, and is in fabulous spirits. I'm wondering if I should be concerned about the eye thing? He hasn't had any GO problems at all. My guts tells me you all would say to just keep on the lookout -- which I will do. Thanks for letting me vent over what is probably something minor, and I'm probably looking for ANYthing at this point that may indicate he's going hypo! We go to his endo on the 10th. I feel better for at least having voiced my (probably paranoid) concern! Hugs to all, Ann
