Guest guest
Well, Pepper, it sounds as if the doctor gave you enough medications that you should be feeling like a million dollars in a few weeks! Yes, I knew that there were many kinds of herpes because the cold sores/fever blisters that I get are also a form of herpes. I'm glad that the swelling in your face is already better - I know it must be miserable, but thank goodness it doesn't hurt and itch like it would if it were shingles. That is a horrible condition - - I've never had it, but my mother has, and it is terrible. It itches, but then hurts if you rub it or scratch it, so there is no relief! Just try to pamper yourself and enjoy the fact that you can DO NOTHING on your doctor's orders! LOL While you are resting, you'll have a chance to read the "Fish" book I sent you - - and it's a wonderful uplifting lesson on attitude and outlook; I think you'll enjoy it, if you haven't already read it - - and I'm betting that you haven't had a chance up to now. Take care of yourself - - get rested and get well - - and you'll be in our prayers. (((HUGS))) Clara No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. Guest guest
I had started reading the book a few days before I took off to Missouri. I started to take it with me and then I thought it would be best not to do so. As a matter of fact I had it in my hands today but I got to feeling ill and went to bed for a couple hours and when I feel bad I can not concentrate on reading. If you need it back I will send it on back to you. I can always look around and try and find me one. I am sorry for keeping it so long. Just let me know and I will ahve it back to you. Thanks for sending it. Love PepperClara Gleghorn wrote: Well, Pepper, it sounds as if the doctor gave you enough medications that you should be feeling like a million dollars in a few weeks! Guest guest
Thank you. The best thing about this week is the fact that is off from work too!! We were suppose to go to Arizona this week with another couple for vacation, but, we ended up using our vacation money for my stay in Missouri and helping with the burial and all. Thats ok though because having him all to myself is the best vacation I could ever ask for. We are having a great time just being with each other. He is making sure I don't do anyhting. He is such a sweetheart. Love, pepperPattycakes wrote: You take some time and let yourself heal. We'll be keeping a good thought for you. Guest guest
Yes it is Randie and each day we do something together even though it may be going to the doctor's office together. Today he rounded up all the cans, batteries, and copper that was here and went and sold it and made $43.00 so thats our spending money for tommorrow. LOL We just got back from a late ride on the bike. We both love to ride nights. The traffic is less, it is cooler and it is just a good feeling. He gets paid Friday and we are going to go look for garage sales!! I am going to go weigh in but I don't think I am going to stay for the meeting. These nights with my husband are rare and I plan on enjoying every minute of it I can. A lot of the ladies really like at TOPS so he is going to go with me to weigh in and say hello to them. They like to tease him about me because I am like really loud and kinda silly and he is like the perfect southern gentleman. He is a sweetheart. Anyway this week has been a great week. Now I got to start adjusting to being alone again after Sunday night! thats a bummer. Love pepper Randie wrote: That's the BEST vacation you can ever have !!!!!!! Guest guest
So does . I like funny movies, but, to me they are to the point of ridiculous. But everyone has different taste in all things. He also likes those gross movies and I have a real weak stomach and there is no way I can watch them. I do not do a lot of tv. I don't go to the movies at all. They are just way to loud. I do watch DVD's and tapes. Beth wrote: I love the Airplane and Naked Gun movies also BethPepper wrote: Thanks a lot Clara. (the computer). He does not use the computer very much and I do not watch tv very often. I love the Law & Order series though, and The Closer. Sometimes the tv does not even get turned on at nights unless I am really lonesome and need to hear voices. LOL PepperBeja92430@... wrote: Thanks a lot Clara. I am feeling better today and maybe tonight I can sit and read it because I know will be watching some gorey movie. He has really horrible taste in movies!! (see there is a complaint I have about him) LOL But of course he will watch love stories with me and if they are really sad he will cry also at them!! He loves the scarey one (like Halloween, Friday the 13th and etc) and the absolutely riduculous ones (that are suppose to be funny) like Airplane, Naked Gun and etc. I just feel bad about having it for so long, but, I think I had recieved it just a few days before my brother went in the hospital. Tahnks for letting em keep it a little longer. Love ya pepper So glad you are feeling better. sounds like the meds are working. My husband and I in most cases do not like the same programs on TV. so if I really want to watch something I either stay where I am and he goes to another TV or I do. Guest guest
We don't watch alot of tv here either. Sometimes I have it for the noise, but more often I will put my headset on and listen to the radio. Maybe I am too old-fashioned (and that is fine with me!!!) but so much of isn't worth watching.
