Re: Visit to heart specialist

This is excellent news!I have this picture in my mind of you feeling so muchbetter and chasing your husband around the kitchen.Maybe that has more to do with me living on my own, thinking that now I have the energy to chase someonearound the kitchen. No, not the kitchen, the garden, the village.............ho hum back to the chores!

So thefirst thing that comes to mind when you mention DevonRex is........................no, better not.Well Dr Skinner did say that he would bring back mylibido and by the summer would have me 'out there, doing it again'. Hope you have better luck than me! - grinning and reminiscing!

Just got back from the heart consultant - I'm officially off the beta

blockers now as well as the aspirin (didn't mention I'd stopped taking

it anyway) AND I've been discharged from his department:-)))))) So,

since going on to Armour, the prozac has gone, the atenalol has gone,

the aspirin has gone, the simvestatin has gone, and it's just the

adizem (regulates heartbeat) left, and I'm hoping that will get ditched

at some point.

Woo Hoo, this is great news..Isn't it amazing what proper treatment

does to you..

Thanks Kate. Yes, it is amazing what the proper treatment does, which makes it all the more distressing that so many don't have the proper treatment, especially when it's comparatively inexpensive and simple!!! This is going to whittle away at me until I find some means of doing something useful to publicise it in a big way. I wondered about sending something to Ch 4 teletext - I don't know if you have a similar thing on tv there, but we can get up pages on the tv about various things and there's a doctors page there. I think I'll ask them to cover it. The problem is, because Armour isn't licenced over here, they won't publicise that aspect, but even if I could get over the main thyroid symptoms, that would be something, so people realised what was wrong with them! Love Chris

Just got back from the heart consultant - I'm officially off the beta blockers now as well as the aspirin (didn't mention I'd stopped taking it anyway) AND I've been discharged from his department:-)))))) So, since going on to Armour, the prozac has gone, the atenalol has gone, the aspirin has gone, the simvestatin has gone, and it's just the adizem (regulates heartbeat) left, and I'm hoping that will get ditched at some point. I've gone from struggling to get up out of a chair, wheezing, feeling like I was dying in brain and body, to getting my life back - all thanks to you lot and Armour! I was only saying to today - I can remember coming out of that hospital a while back, after being diagnosed with heart problems, thinking my life would never be the same again. It was only going to go one way - downhill.

I've got quite a lot of unopened tablets here - do you think anyone is desperate enough to need them?

Love Chris

I KNOW how you feel, same way that I felt the day I put the crutches in the corner....

how I felt the first time I didn't have to lean on the cart at the grocery store.

when I washed my hair with shampoo and not just stood under the shower....

I know...

But you won't get a pic... NO ONE gets a pic of me.....

EVER

hehehehehe

Now is this a thyroid issue about not letting people have pics LOL! I'm the same LOL! Sometimes I arrange to meet people at cat shows and they ask for a pic. but I just tell them I'm pyramid shaped with greyish hair - they seem to find me OK. Might have to change that description (hopefully!) in the future when the weight comes off a bit:-)))

You have a brilliant day there:-)))) Love Chris:-)
