Guest guest
AWESOME! New Endo, He Prescribed Armour! For those of you on the group who remember, my last doctor visit a few months ago ended for me when the endo called Armour "the poor man's medicine" and ignored my request and gave me cytomel to add to the levoxyl instead of Armour. I just returned from seeing Dr. Sindler, who by the way is listed on the top doc list and the armour thryoid website. He listened to my concerns and looked at the copies of the labwork from the previous doctor. He did a very good examine, asked numerous questions and took bloodwork. When he gave me the prescription for armour without any questions, I also most fainted! He prescribed 60mg to be taken twice a day. He wants to see back in three weeks. If I have any problems before then, I am to call him. Also, I did not take any meds today at all. My appointment was this afternoon at 2:30p so I was not sure exactly what to do. It seems that I won't have any meds today and will start them tomorrow. I also started my bi-annual colon cleanse and hope there won't be any conflict with the new medicine. I am so excited! I hope I get very good result after taking this for a hilwe. The endo says he will monitor me closely to see which dosage is best for me. Of oourse I also plan to solicit suggestions fronm the group because if it were not for you, I never would gave known about armour. The endo also discussed my weight issues and stated that if there are no results concerning that, he also has some products I may want to consider using. F. Yahoo! Guest guest
Thanks for that, Jean.. I’m glad you don’t use the wash out way because my Specialist said it was very dangerous for anyone with a weak gut, you can easily burst one of the little pockets and it can kill.. sounds really scary ! I may try your method as I do feel occasionally I need refreshing, as I have diverticular disease and it is a problem… Best regards.. Guest guest
I needed some good news today, thanks Jean!!! How much T4 and T3 were you on before... I just want to relate it to the two grains that the doc has started you on. I'm so happy that you were able to find a doc that listens.... Armour prescription aside... it's REALLY important to have a doc that listens and takes the time to do it right.... Giving you Armour on top of that,,,, wooohoooo!!! Your story inspired my to start collecting Peoples experiances with Endos who prescribe Armour (good or bad). Yours is the first story, looking for more. I also started my bi-annual colon cleanse and hope > there won't be any conflict with the new medicine. > > F. > > > --------------------------------- > Yahoo!
