Guest guest Posted December 30, 2004 Report Share Posted December 30, 2004 Texans in EMS, being the Lemmings we are, will let GETAC or the TDHS answer for Texas EMS to the National Scope of Practice Committee and not speak for ourselves. It has been and will always be that way and we will remain impotent compared to other states. In most states, like the letter from Colorado I just posted, the EMS associations are forwarding letters to the powers that be instead of allowing state government to speak for them. What a shame......In the days of the Alamo and San Jacinto, our forefathers would raise a flag that says, " People Lead...Government Follows. " Our Texas EMS flag says, " Government Leads, Texas EMS Follows. " What a shame.... BEB E.
