Oh, , those are in each bathroom along with the tp, but he

didn't use them. My guess is that they are too small and he's afraid

of getting poop on his hand. No chance of that if you use a full-

sized bath towel now, is there? LOL Leggs

guess you're off to buy

Just a thought ...

I'm a big fan of the new flushable roll wipes. They work well with little

ones who aren't so coordinated, and they are a lot like baby wipes.

Sounds like he's doing great Leggs! :-)

You can always get more towels. This sounds like a psychological

breakthrough! Plus he was very happy about it. Way to go Brandt!

Now in Pakistan they don't use toilet paper, they use their left hand

and water. Don't ask me how I know that, you don't want to know...

How about paper towels and have him throw them in the garbage can until he's

more confident?

We had a Muslim woman come speak to our state Association of Midwives

once about Muslim customs and beliefs to help us be respectful of

their culture if we attend them in birth. She did say that the left

hand was used for dishonorable things and the right hand for honorable

things. We should never offer our left hand to shake hands with and

such things like that. She did mention that the left hand was for

things like cleaning the bottom. I did not even think she might mean

without toilet paper....

She was from Africa.

Yea, my best friend works in international health ... the hand thing is very

common in many parts of the world. Though I would point out that they *do*

wash their hands afterwards. Anyway, it makes you appreciate the left-hand

taboo thing. And it is waaaay better than the communal rag-on-a-stick

method also prevalent in many areas ... euw ....
