North Carolina is definitely still the South, Cammie, especially for me since I grew up in Connecticut. But our Mississippi/Alabama friends and family kind of consider us semi-Yankees now especially when it snows up here. All in good fun. We love living up here but we really miss the food on the Gulf Coast, especially Mahoney's and being able to go to the harbor and buy a cooler full of fresh shrimp directly off the shrimpers as they're unloading for less than $10. I was never a fan of the casinos either so I lived in Long Beach where there was still a small town feel. Have fun riding, . Enjoy your weekend.
