Hi Kirsten,

Glad to hear Kirsten is adjusting so well. How is the red mark to day?

Is it from the band or from her eczema?

You are doing the right thing for her! Once she's a grad with a nice

little round noggin you'll be so happy you banded her. Keep us posted

on her progress.

We just got back from an adjustment with the ortho. He made some

changes to the ear holes and she's already doing better with the

helmet! We also switched offices of the Brace Shop...this one is in

a much less scary part of town! Same ortho, nicer office...can't

beat that!

Hi Kirsten,

Glad to hear she's doing better since the adjustment. :-) It's great

that your ortho is able to see you in a nicer part of town, that's

always a plus.

Keep us posted on her progress.

Thanks for the idea about the velcro, Carol. It worked! What would

I do without this group?

Laurel is adjusting well...last night was her first night sleeping

in it and she slept all the way through, just like normal. What a

relief! Now I just have to get through taking her back to daycare

on Monday. Anyone have any instructions that they've used for

caregivers? I need to make sure they know how to get the helmet off

and on if they need to take it off for any reason. (Spit up, etc.)

Kirsten,

I am so glad to hear it worked and things are going well. Sorry I was

busy and didn't get a chance to reply before you got her back to

daycare. How did it go?

Kirsten,

I am so glad to hear it worked and things are going well. Sorry I was

busy and didn't get a chance to reply before you got her back to

daycare. How did it go?

So far, so good with daycare. It seems to have restored her sense

of normalcy. After the first good night, we had a couple of bad

nights, but once she returned to daycare it seems to have evened

back out again. Hopefully we're past the hump now and she's getting

more accustomed to wearing the helmet. Tomorrow will be one week

since she got it...one week closer to a rounder head!

miss thier playtime with friends even at these ages, lol. One week
