Guest guest
Hey everybody! As some of you know, I gave out samples this week of my first batch of soap. The response has been amazing! One person said she is a " dedicated customer " and she wants to start paying me for my soap. But....after only 1 bar??? Another person told me that her adolescent daughter has been grouchy for weeks now (harmones...I'm sure).....but after trying the soap she came to her mom and said " that soap was so great, you get a kiss! " . Can you believe that? I have NO plans to start selling my soap. It's WAY too soon for that but what I'm wondering is if I could take donations. My friends want to help me cover expenses (which is SOOOO nice of them). If I take donations, do I need to label them and notate their weight like you guys talk about for your soaps that you sell? Is there anything I should take into consideration if accept donations? Thanks in advance!

Guest guest
Ellen, Yup, now that makes sense, though I don't think she will end up in prison for doing a few " casual " sales. Sherry in Aberdeen Re: too early to sell soap >Sorry you guys didn't get it. It must have been the extra " r " on the first > " you " ... Actually, my real question is do you all think I need to label my soap with ingredients and weight if I'm gonna take donations. Anyone know or have an opinion they'd like to share? Thanks!
