Guest guest
Hi Gena, It is a beautiful spring morning here and the first day of daylight saving means we will have a lovely long evening to sit outside and appreciate it. Hans is going to a service tonight so we can't go walking in the park but we do plan to get out on the bikes this afternoon. I hope you had a wonderful evening out with Mike and your friends. I think one of the greatest things about being on a journey to a new healthy lifestyle is that you can make room for occasions such as this without feeling 'guilt' or 'failure'. On a " diet " you feel so guilty about an evening out that you can easily give up but not with the slow steady approach we are using. I figured right from the outset " if I can't make this a permanent part of my life then I'm not going to start " . I'm sort of doing a composite reply so you'll get plenty of exercise flitting from topic to topic. >>>>>Sure Marie!!!! LOL Stroke stroke.......... LOL Hey Belle is my biggest cat so she takes up quite a bit of room. She's 15 pounds and with tons of fur!<<< Gena, I want to let you in on a little secret. You will notice an ever so slight difference between Belle sitting in your lap and me sitting in your lap (and that ISN'T the fact that I don't have tons of fur!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Sorry, this is a bit of eavesdropping - from a mail you wrote for Dee - >>>Since Niki is gone in the army and Cassie is getting older, will be 13 in 3 weeks, I have thought about what I will do when she is gone. I have thought of being a personal trainer. Since I have lost my weight for the most part because of exercise I would like to help others that way. Anyway, good for you!<<< You would make a fantastic motivational speaker Gena. Think it over , I'M BEING SERIOUS. By the way, no matter how hard you try to convince me that you 'don't do all that much' I can assure you that I would have trouble keeping up with you. I get my exercise just reading about yours!!!!! And I DO know what you mean about having to drag myself away from the computer every so often. I don't know how I ever found time to go to work for 40 hours every week!!!!! I hope you're enjoying having Cassie home again. I guess that with the tragedy of the two little boys you realise even more than ever how lucky you are to have her. When something tragic happens we certainly learn to count our blessings don't we. Cheers and hugs, Marie
