Guest guest
Becca, I looked, as I have posted often, as though a clydesdale had stepped on my face. And apparently it happened pretty quickly, because just before I went from the OR to the recovery area, my surgeon stopped to speak with me, held his hand up to block the view of my face, and said, " Cammie, please don't let anybody know I did this to you! " Apparently I bruised way worse than most people. Mine were two great big purple parentheses, and in addition, I had another on my throat from the tubes, and on my wrist, where they'd had the A- line in. But they went away, and I was no worse off for it. Many people get that yellowish tinge as the bruises are going away. I think it's quite natural. Some folks even play " count the colors and see how long they stay! " Mine went away after about a week. Meantime, if you're really worried about it, there are cosmetics called " Dermablend " that are used for covering birthmarks and the like, (or tattoos that become regretted) and you could send a trusted soul out to get some for you. You sound as though you're doing fine! Cammie > Hey again everyone.. its becca > I was just wondering a little about bruising.. Guest guest
Hi, i'm not really bruised either (4 days post op lower.genio) I was a little yellow around my chest and neck when i first came out but that seems to have gone. I guess it depends how gentle the surgeon is and your sensitivity. I normally bruise easily so i was worried, but i came out good. jaimi > > Hey again everyone.. its becca > > I was just wondering a little about bruising..
