Guest guest
In responce to others asking if their children had this happen... My son is 11 mos. and has been in his band for 4 months now and I can only see minimal improvement. Very often he goes 4-6 weeks with zero or 1 mm growth. I have voiced my concern with Cranial Tech, but they say he is just a slow growing boy. His head is only in the 17% , but is small for his age anyway (18.5 lbs and 11 months old) I am very frustrated not to see the great results so many other mom's describe and feel like I am putting my son through all of this for nothing. Not to mention the $3000 and constant travel. I had not heard yet about the bands restricting over all growth. Guest guest
Hi, Bands don't cause any restriction of head growth. http://www.cranialtech.com/ParentsArea/researchArticles.html Scroll down to Cranial Growth Unrestricted During DOC Treatment of Plagiocephaly. I'm sorry you're baby is growing so slowly. My fingers are crossed for a huge growth spurt! Keep us posted on his progress. > > In responce to others asking if their children had this happen... > > > My son is 11 mos. and has been in his band for 4 months now and I can only > see minimal improvement.
