Guest guest
I thought I would let my little guy try some 'sugar laden' cereal for a treat. I had read here that Cocoa Pebbles were GF and then there was talk of them being Cross Contaminated, so it was a gamble. Since he is the only one I have no way of knowing if he feels bad unless he tells me and since he has felt bad all of his little life, he is unable to distinguish hunger from pain etc. I bought the Pebbles on Mon. I think all the kids ate them for 'dessert'. He had some for Breakfast and a snack on Tues and Wed. and Thurs. It didn't dawn on me until yesterday Friday that " you know what, he has had diarrhea and soft stools since Wed " then I realized --- those Cocoa Pebbles are contaminated! Poor little guy, he is 3 1/2 and he doesn't understand that I said they were okay and now their not. Bad Mommy!!! For the purpose of not having him question if Mommy is lying. I won't take a gamble again until he is older and can understand before he eats it that it might not be completely safe. Rejoyce Winchester, VA P.S. - I bought MaltoMeal Fruit Pebbles and I guess those will go to family friends...
