Hi, I'm New To The Group [my intro]

Hi,

My name is Chastity (Chas). I am 29, married, and have a precious 2 year old

son, , who by the way has Mild Spastic Diplegic Cerebral Palsy. I

live in Illinois in the suburbs of Chicago. I have Chronic Myofascial Pain

Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, and CFS. It's gotten to the point where I get 4

hours of sleep each night, my whole body feels tight, I've had many surgeries

since my pregnancy with , six to be exact, and my husband doesn't even

have the strength to rub my legs every night. This all, as far as I know,

has been going on since May of 2001, but I think has been going on longer.

In May, I noticed that I was having more severe problems with my legs. But I

have had other symptoms much longer. I have not started treatment, yet. My

evaluation is on Oct. 9th. I was just dx'd on Sept. 25th at the Rehab.

Institute of Chicago. I am currently waiting on SS Disability. I have

several other medical conditions, also, that I have applied for SS

Disability. They are Idiopathic Gastroparesis, Chronic back pain from 2

major back surgeries last Fall, and Stress. I need help, especially with

taking care of , but don't have any. And finally, I'm a stay-at-home

mom. I look foward to this group and will probably be asking a lot of

questions.

Welcome to our group. Ask all of the questions that you want. I would

hazard a guess that someone on this list will have the answer. I think that

we are a very good group but I am partial. It is supportive, caring and

loving. Glad to have you.
