Guest guest
Alessa, How are you getting it from them? I just phoned them and they said no way. With a prescription you can get testosterone literally everywhere, but I am trying to get some for myself. ~Inga > Hi Inga, > This is where I got mine: > http://www.womensinternational.com/hormones_fs.html > I was very happy with them. > :^) > > IIM----------So has ANYBODY found anyplace to get testosterone, short > of the > syringes of it made for body builders? > ~Inga > > > >

Guest guest
Hi Inga, Sorry about that! Yes, I had a prescription. I didn't realise you didn't have one. I haven't read it all, but got the list of doctors. So did you find a doctor this way to help with hormone issues? Do they understand thyroid and adrenal issues? Do they believe in mercury toxicity? I'm sure each doctor is different, but I'm just curious what your experience is/was. And if anybody has any ideas on what questions to ask when I call these places/doctors, that would be great. I'm wondering if I should NOT mention mercury? I don't want to sound like some lunatic. Thanks! So I'm hoping/assuming that a written Rx will be covered by insurance? Will have to check it out.--------Jackie T> Jackie, I don't have money for that sort of thing, which is why I was looking for a source for estrogen and testosterone. -----------Inga, how about the source that the NTH group uses to get their HC and Armour from without a Rx? It's overseas and I've never tried it, but I think I know the link. Email me offline if you want it, you're not supposed to pass it around openly on these groups.--------------Jackie T> Personally, I would not go to a doctor that does not understand or believe in mercury.....we are already in a tough enough battle, to take on yet one more. Since mercury affects the hormones and their readings so much, I would think it could even be counterproductive to see a physician for hormones that does not have a clue about mercury. Just my opionion. -----------I agree. I have been to a couple alt docs that supposedly knew something about mercury, and neither one was on the same page as me or agreed with what I have learned from Andy's books and these groups. And yes, it feels like a battle. That was the exact word I used to describe dealing with my DO, preparing for battle! So yes, I was/am about ready to chuck it and go see so I can consult with Andy also, and have asked JT about it, and she encouraged me to contact Andy and ask if he has consulted with anybody in MN. So I did, and he has only signed one consulting agreement with a MN doc who is about 3 hours away, and he didn't seem to know much about her. So I need to check her out, but Andy also encouraged me to look for a hormone doctor closer to home. That's why I am checking out those links, and there is one close by that was on the Armour website and the Women's International Pharmacy list of doctors, so I'm hoping she might work out. The other catch is I need to get one of these doctors or my regular GP to sign the consulting agreement. So I will try a little more locally, but if it's too much hassle or not productive, I will probably be going to Seattle to see . She has prescribed hormones for people, and I think her website mentions bio-identical hormones, so I think she gets it. And she already works with Andy, so there wouldn't be any arguing over using his protocol, she would sign a consulting agreement, and I could try DMPS. So she does have many pluses. And I could consult with her AND Andy for less than what my stupid DO charges! So I will not be wasting any more money on him!-------Jackie T. You could always go see ...........not sure how much she works with female hornones and such though.... JayT could probably tell you better Inga --------------------------------------- > ------------------ > > In a message dated 10/24/06, Alessa wrote: > > Hi Inga, > This is where I got mine: > http://www.womensinternational.com/hormones_fs.html > I was very happy with them. > :^) > ---------------------------------------------------------- > > Hi Alessa, > > I just received the free info packet from Women's International > Pharmacy.
