Guest guest
It's not uncommon to hear of kids getting a little pocket of fluid. My kids' was right by the buckle. It's just a little fluid retention under the skin. It doesn't cause any medical problems. Like I said before it's the season for colds and ear infections. Yes, they are terrible. My 6 year old had one this week. Until his ears realigned, Dane got them all the time. I would never put rubbing alcohol on a baby's skin. I think that is terrible advice! Cece has permanent red marks on her neck, but she was born with them. We really like to use Aveeno oatmeal pouches on any dry or rashy skin. I would think about changing your cleaning routine with the band. Are you the one who uses soap and runs it under water? I could really see that causing a problem with the skin. I would think it would take forever to dry completely. If it is even a little damp when it's put back on his head it could really cause some problems. I hope Charlie feels better soon.
