Gikas, but I don't know if she is posting a lot just now. You might try and drop her a line and ask. SHe was all gung ho on them, but ended up being somewhat disappointed in the end. I think her bottom line feeling was that they are good for somebody who doesn't know anything about balancing hormones or toxicity, but for folks who are already invovled in these forums and working with mercury toxicity, she seemed to feel they had not much more to offer. Well, I shouldn't speak for her..ask about her experience and why she quit going. Inga
Guest guest
I am not certain if she made subsequent postings after her initial " Rah-rahs " about them.....I think you would be better off getting the newer information from her.....moight save you thoiusands of dollars. Apparently, she thought they were going to be her God send, and then later on refused to even go back to them....I don't want to say exactly why, because I might get some of the details wrong. Best get it from her.... ~inga > Thanks Inga. I'll try emailing directly, and when I get time, > I'll search for old postings about it from her. > > Jackie T. Guest guest
Thanks Inga, I emailed her personally. I would be very upset if I would waste thousands of dollars that I don't have, and not be happy with the outcome. Thank god for these groups!-------Jackie T. Guest guest
I realized that I don't think that I reported back to you guys on this. did say that they were very expensive and if you have learned alot on these boards already about thyroid/adrenal, etc., that they probably wouldn't teach you much new. It would probably be much cheaper to find someone else locally to help with these issues. What she did go on about is to get your growth hormone tested, IGF-1. She said hers was quite low, and this was the only really new thing that they found. She was told to take Colostrum to raise this. I know they give injections for some things, and now I can't remember if she got any of those or not. She said the injections are very expensive also. And part of how they make their money is requiring follow up visits, even if they are on the phone, to continue to get your prescriptions from them. She felt they were too much about the money, just her impression. So not that they didn't know what they were doing, she just feels they are very expensive and you could probably get help elsewhere much cheaper. Back to the Colostrum. I found that part very interesting, because I started taking Colostrum back in January, to boost my immune system. I felt an improvement right away after I started taking it. So maybe I'm low in growth hormone too, and helped it without even knowing it! Jackie
