Guest guest
Hi Jantjie,I forgot to mention to you that you can see my dd before and after pictures by clicking here > >> > Hi there> > > > Very concerned mom, 1st Doc band on at 12.5 months adjusted age, 13.25 actual. PT wanted me to quickly get into the 2nd Doc band which I did after 2.75 months in the 1st band.(He had not out grown 1st band, I wanted to let him use the band until he out grew it , but she kept pushing me to change) He's now 3.5 months into 2nd band. > > > > I have a feeling I've had ill fitted bands. I questioned the P.t. on it, but she said the bands were fine. They always pushed up in back and moved around????? was this normal???? My son grew 10mm circumference in the 1st band in 2.75 months of treatment his measurements went from 13mm head, 9mm ears, 5mm eyes off to 10mm head, 5 ears, and 4mm eyes. 2nd band went on then at approx 15.5 months of age , after one month in 2nd band I had her do measurements (she had no changes) I do not know yet how much he has grown in circumferance during the 2nd band yet. The 2nd month in the 2nd band, she got 2mm correction to the cranial vault. His measurements were then 8mm head, 5mm ears, and 4eyes off. He has 3 weeks left in the 2nd band. It seems like I have ill fitted bands. Even the 2nd one pushes up in back. It would seem like it does not have the capability to stay on the bulge area. Any advice. Doc clinics are closed. I cannot find out exact measurements. In 2 weeks my son will be 20 months. And it seems like I've had very poor correction. This is not what I was expectingn from a Doc band. I see others mothers having correction very quickly and successsfully the 2nd year of life. What's happening. I'm sure his head has still been growing circumferance wise, and I'm not catching it. I leave the band on allllll the time. I have fibromyalgia, he get a bath only 2-3 times a week. The band is off only a very short time only a few times a week. So I know it's not me. I also started cranial sacral therapy when he was 18 months, he' now 20. I have a call into Cranial Tech in AZ. But I only was questioning the pt not wanting to band my son again, or to let him wear the band until he grows out of it, she wont do that either. HQ in AZ verbally told my they let the child wear the band until it does not fit, or he does not need it. Alot of confusion, and anxiousmess now. I think I need a new Doc PT, any advice, I'm looking at going to the AZ clinic now. Do they have a good record of good fitting on older children. I would like to see improvement from 8mm head, 5mm ears, and 4mm eyes. I know it could take a while, But it seem like even at 20 months, they are getting good correction on kid(Yes it all depends on the growth) I hope my child still has some left. Help Very sad mom. I've been trying so hard, went to the best band, and having a very unsuccessful treatment. I feel that they should not charge me for the 3rd band then either.??????What's the process for fighting this process. > > > > Jantjie - > > 20month old, nearing end of second band.> >>
