have sinus infection while Hypo for scan - what can I take?

My endo prescribed Z-Pack (ZITHROMAX) but I'm confused. It's a reddish

brown tablet so does that mean it will have red dye in it? Why would she

prescribe that knowing it can contain iodine? Last time I had a sinus infection

I believe I took Augmentin or Cipro for it and it cleared it up great. Does

anyine know if any of these meds will cause a problem?
