Hi, I just had a sliding reduction genio- you can feel the place

where the bone was cut, but its not visible at all. There isn't a

huge space there, although I would imagine it would depend on how far

you had to go. My surgeon showed me my post-op x-ray- pretty cool!

There's a perfect moon shaped cut there, with a couple screws. Its

not a wierd sensation or anything, if that's what you are concerned

about, although for me the chin was the most painful part. Not to

scare you, I'm still glad I did the genio...

I had upper, lower, & genio almost a month ago. If I run my fingers

along my jawline around the " seams " where my genio was done, I can't

really feel the difference by touching (though I know just where it

would be because the seams are still a little sensitive--not

painful, just sort of pins-and-needles). So it's pretty subtle. I

think my surgeon can tell by touching it, but hey, he knows what to

look for better than I.

For what it's worth, I love the aesthetic side-effects of my

surgery. I am so glad I had it done.
