Guest guest
Hello. I'm glad that she took to the band so well. My Daughter acted the same way from the first time the band was placed on her head. As far as taking it off and putting it on... don't be afraid to really spread it/pull it apart where the velcro opening is. It won't break and it really helps to open it up a bit there when you are putting it on or taking it off. Also, we used to usually put in her excersaucer (or highchair) when we would put it on her. It helped to keep her still so you can slip in on. You will get more used to it over the next few days and it will get easier to take off and on. Guest guest
, It will get easier to put it on and take it off. Expect some fussing and frustration from both of you over the next few days. It's a learning process. Try using the high chair, bouncy or exercause if there isn't someone to hold her. Even just lay her down on the floor. Open it up as wide as possible and start from the back putting it on - that's what is easiest for me. Guest guest
I'm glad Grace took to her band well It will get easier to put the band on and off. Soon you'll be doing it one handed! I'm a big fan of Aveeno oatmeal pouches. We'd add a little water to make a paste and use that on the head during bath time. We'd let it sit and just rinse well. Both of my banded kids have eczema and sensitive skin. This really helped. Look forward to hearing about Grace's progress! Guest guest
My daughter doesn't have eczema but her head got really itchy when she got her helmet so we started to use the Aveeno baby wash for dry skin and eczema and that worked wonders for us she doesn't even scratch at her head since we started using that.
