Guest guest
Hi , Welcome to our group. In a short time you will be very knowledgable about Ashermans and understand more about it than the doctors who are currently treating you. Please spend time reading through old messages, file and database sections. Where do you live and how were you diagnosed with Ashermans. What kind of insurance do you have? These are all factors in deciding what your next step should be in dealing with your Ashermans condition. From your e-mail it sounded like you were diagnosed just by an ultrasound. I want you to be very cautious with the doctors you are seeing because they can also easily misdiagnose the extent, location, severity of your ashermans. Most doctors have only seen this in textbooks and don't know what they are looking at. Ashermans is very different than other gyn conditions. All of us in the group have been through the wringer dealing with inexperienced asherman doctors which only adds to our stress and anxiety regarding having the possibility of our fertility being taking away from us. You will keep hearing all of us say please don't walk but run if you can depending on where you live and your financial resources to the nearest A-list doctor. These doctors are experts in diagnosing properly and treating Ashermans. It is also the best way to put you on the quickest road to healing not only your condition, but also emotionally as this takes a toll on us all. We all our hear for you and don't think twice about asking all kinds of questions. We are all at different stages in our treatment in the group. Some of us are in the diagnosis stage, treatment stage, post-op stage, ttc stage, and many of our members are able to go on to have successful pregnancies if their Ashermans is treated properly.
