Elle,

I didn't find out until both of my kids were born if they were a boy or a

girl. It is so exciting to hear the doctor announce it. I liked the

suspense. It was neat that just me and Daddy knew...then he got to

tell...what a high... if there is a next time for me I am going to wait again

to find out. That's just me, though, you might want to know beforehand. I

also had names picked out but didn't use either of them because the baby just

didn't LOOK like the names I had chosen...giggle...go figure...hope you are

having a wonderful day...love KJ

Hey Dominique!

Thank you! I can't wait to get to that u/s! Only 2 weeks and 1 day

left to go! That will be a real milestone! I don't think they can

determine the sex until around 14-16 weeks, but I'm not sure. DH and

I have discussed it a little bit. He thinks he wants to know and I am

not sure. Yes, knowing would make getting ready a little easier, but

I think being totally surprised at birth and hearing, " It's a_______! "

would also be incredible. A friend of mine, who chose not to find out

with either of her children told me that during pg, all the attention

is on the Mommy, which is true. So, at birth, the big announcement of

whether it is a girl or boy is where the Daddy gets the spot light.

My sister didn't find out with her first child, but did with her

second. She said the only difference was not hearing the " it's

a____! " at the birth unless, of course, a mistake was made and...OOPS!

so, we are still discussing it.........

How are you????????????

KJ,

I tend to agree with you! I think the suspense would just add to the

excitement! I have heard that so often people will have names picked

out and then change their minds once they see their baby! That's so

funny!

I am having a MUCH better day...Thanks! How about you?

Thank you ! What we have all gone through has put us all in a

position of fear. Unfortunately, that doesn't go away with the ep!

What is so sad to me is that the fear overshadows the joy of pg. It's

like waiting for the other shoe to drop. I am hoping that as each

week passes, that fear will subside a little. I treasure each and

everyday with this baby and thank God for my blessing. Going through

an ep really makes you appreciate the miracle.

Your well wishes mean so much...thank you!
