Guest guest
Becky, What type of band are you getting? Most babies do not out grow the bands unless they are huge growers or very young. The growth slows a bit around 7 months so I don't think this will be a worry for you. I don't understand why she would want you to wait then, if the helmet is inevitable. She may not be as educated on the bands as she could be, that is not uncommon. The studies have proven time and time again the earlier the treatment is started the better and usually quicker the correction. If you have been repoing since 2 months without seeing alot of improvement I would see if you can get a sooner casting and go for it now, but that is just my opinion. Good Luck.
