Guest guest
I just joined this group. My first son Colin had a cranio cap from Gilette Childrens in Minnetonka. Our second son is developing a flat spot as well so I joined this group while I decide if I should have him banded or not. I'd be willing to discuss my experiences with the cranio cap/gilette's. I don't have bad things to say about them but if we do band son #2 I plan to take him to Tandem Orthotics in St Cloud. I took Colin there for a free follow up consultation after he was out of his cranio cap and I wasn't completely happy with the results (he had severe plagio by the time we got referred by our ped). Neither the dr I met with at Tandem or Dr Wood at Childrens felt comfortable putting him in another cap/band but I liked the dr in St Cloud so much better--she had a better " bedside " manner I felt although in general I was happy with Gilette. > > > > > > I am going to get my son, Sammy, casted for a cranial cap after > > Christmas. > > > Thought the holidays are a little to hectic to make sure to > get in > > and > > > everything.
