Guest guest
Kim, They say that in this world land/real estate is the best investment. I disagree. I say it's the second best. Investing in yourself, and your health is paramount. A healthier you will produce ripples of good consequences for yourself AND your entire family. What is it they say? If mama ain't happy....? You're new at this and have one strike against you - you are human and not perfect You've been diligent and you're ready to make the effort. For many people that is the hardest step. Consider yourself ahead of the game. Your family is part of your "team". If they don't realize this [without threats] work on educating them. When we feel ownership of a problem or its solution we tend to be more committed. One last thought. Do you have a non-food "pamper-me" plan? For those truly hard days? Like a block of time for a hot bath or to read? I've been known to declare "I claim the living room for 30 consecutive minutes!" I might watch tv or have tea and read. The kids give me that space and amuse themselves or go out to play. I choose times when the likelihood of success is high Of course, I don't have infants or young ones and my husband is great support. These "sanity breaks" really help. Just something to consider - we all need to recharge. You can do it, dawne
