I want to thank , veryVERY much, for

posting this article of great topical concern to the group “for” me

(to do so, she had to purchase “access” to the article in order to be

able to post it to the group! Hopefully everyone will take an interest to

read it… I, for one, am very glad I did. Anyhoo, was kind

enough to take time from her busy schedule to help me out with this post, as Jim

& I were experiencing computer issues (rendering me powerless to attend to

the matter myself). unfroze my outbox last night, but latest word

from Arne is that my postings STILL don’t come through as a “member’s.”

(*sob!*) Arrgghh!!! Yahooligans, sheesh!!! Does anyone know how to

fix Yahooligans?!?

It was my sister (a Long

Beach, CA area resident) who saw

& snipped this article out of the Sunday LA Times & snail-mailed it to

me while we were away in Ireland.

She correctly figured that my continuous “research” for Jim et al

came to a halt during our vacation, and she was right. I finally got a

chance to read the article (it’s a long read, but I believe e-x-t-r-e-m-e-l-y

worthwhile… for reasons MO points out, & more) while at Jury

Duty, and boyohboy, I was concerned for several reasons.

This One’s For You, ( & for

anyone else who might care to read it). Enjoy!

My blasted Outbox was frozen, our computer

throwing hissy-fits,

& I was approaching a point where I fantasized

I might smash the darned box to bits!

Sure, it’s convenient to have a genius

son who’s a computer-programmer whiz,

But, unfortunately, everybody else “needs”

him, too (‘cause his career’s quite a “technical” biz).

So, to bide my time, I open my mail, &

lo & behold! A news clipping!

(Seems my sis sent an LA Times UNOS investigation

which, as a read, seems quite gripping.

But shoot-howdy, with no computer, how best

to alert PSC Support?

Hmm, here’s an idea… how ‘bout

I ask , & she if she’ll be a good sport?

So without further ado, three cheers for

! Hippity-hip, hooray!

(Oh –side note FYI, – yes,

the article certainly posted okay!)

You’re a “Together in the

fight, whatever it takes” motto turned to action.

I’m grateful to you, & hope this

poem relays my profound satisfaction.

Let me know if this does not come through…I had

trouble cutting and pasting with margin issues. Interesting read

though. I think it just proves how important it is that we be involved

and be major advocates for our loved ones.
