Guest guest
Hi Frameworks. I am from Australia (Sydney - so sorry no dermotologist reccos from Melbourne). I have just seen a dermo after 10 years or so of increasing rosacea and being pretty miserable, embarrasssed, etc etc etc. I am also new to the list, so am working my way through the highlights. So glad to have found you ! I have a green concealer from The Body Shop that I find reasonably useful. The Body shop 'All In One Face Base' is also ok, but feel I need a shade between two that are available - one is too pale, the next too tan, so lookig for something in another brand. Can't use it when I am having a flaky episode tho (I didnlt realise this is different but commonly concurrent - and the dermo didn't mention anything about it!) For sunscreen I have found Sun Sense Daily Face Matt Formula spf 30+ to be EXCELLENT. It is oil-free,fragrance free, PABA free, lanoline free, and propylene glycol (whatever that is!) free. it is a combination moisturiser and sunscreen, so two for the price of one. It is available at chemists in the sunscreen section, and as I said it works for me. and it is reasonably priced - much better than the specialist cosmetic ranges. I use it, then the green foundation tint then the combined facebase, and feel reasonably ok even with a major flare up. Oh, i also take minocycline and use Rozex gel - a brand of metro (just started with both those and awauting results!) I realise now my eyes are affected - get the sticky morning stuff, weeping, redness and occasional grittiness - DEFINITELY exacerbated when I don't get a really good (ie 9-10 hours) sleep, and definitely less when on vacation and stress -free. Hope this helps. Sally _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.
