Guest guest
Hi everyone, Andy Cutler insists that one ensure there is no amalgam under crowns before doing DMSA. I did this and had my dentist put a temporary crown on top of what's left of that tooth, waiting for new dental insurance to kick in, when I want the tooth removed. While doing DMSA, I am all but sure that I get a metal taste in my mouth. Given that the crown may be fired on a nickel base, and nickel is one of the other metals that Cutler hates, - he, quite correctly, deems it a carcinogen, and given that it is nuts to do DMSA while you still have amalgams in your body, I wanted to ask whether there is any " established knowledge " on DMSA and other metals used in dental care. It would , of course, be the height of stupidity to move create a new potentially fatal metal toxicitiy while removing the previous one. S.
