Guest guest Posted April 3, 2002 Report Share Posted April 3, 2002 Hi, The lab that ran your tests should include reference ranges with each test it does and you have to compare your labs to these. Some of the units of measurement are different in the UK except for TSH we use the same units pretty much world wide. What we do is measure the total content, like in micrograms, in a certain volume, like millileters, but the exact units can vary in different labs. If you get a written copy of your labs, the normal or reference ranges should be listed beneath your results.
