Guest guest
<<<<<By the time I pay the fee and taxes come out and the cost of materials is deducted, theres not much profit left. What are your thoughts? Can you really make enough $$ at this to make it worth while. I LOVE making the m & p which I would continue to do but I am struggling to figure out is it worth the effort to try and get wholesale accounts.>>>> andi: you've asked some excellent, yet difficult questions. two additional items to consider are a) labor costs and market saturation levels. it is work, no doubt. ask laura how many hours she puts in on top of the mommy job, the wife job, her co-ops, etc ~~ i imagine it must be a passion to survive the demons of doubt and the HARDWORK. if you choose to continue, however..........you might consider additional products ( a product line per se) to increase profits. also, private label, (or no label), to wholesale accounts can shave some work/costs. i'm late out the door again, but lets discuss this more. larrae
