Guest guest
Hi Peach, My heart goes out to you on working full time and having very limited energy for anything beyond that. I understand exactly how you feel. One by one I have had to drop out of things I was involved in because I pretty much am not worth too much after work either. On weekends I feel like I am just recuperating from the week and getting ready to do it all over again. My Neph thinks I am about 6 mos to a year away from needing dialysis, and energy levels are a challenge. One thing that does help is exercise, although it is very hard to get through. I still do three miles three to four days a week (more 3 than 4 lately!) and that does help me to feel better. The other thing is to keep an eye on your hematocrit level. Mine recently dropped down to 32, and I can tell a big difference between that and 37 where I like to be. Make sure your Neph is not letting you drop too low. I realize I have nothing to say that is encouraging here, but I hope it helps just to know that you are not alone, and you are among friends who really do understand.
