What is polishing? Is that something you can do to soap? If so, how?

I do something similiar. Except that instead of a slightly damp cloth, I'll

use a cotton ball moistened with just a bit of rubbing alcohol (just enough

to get the dust off, etc., not enough to wet/soak into the bar). It

polishes it to a gorgeous shine! I agree that it's worth the extra effort.

I've been lurking here a couple of weeks and I'm thrilled to have found this

list! I'll be fairly quiet, running a biz, having 2 sons under 5, and being

pregnant don't leave me a lot of posting time LOL -- but I read everything.

I'll pop in now and then when I have something to say! ;o)

WOW! Cheryl .....

How are you managing it all?! Especially with soon to be 3 under the age

of 5?? (when are you due?

This note made me feel good! I am a new M & P soaper - just plain bars so

far - but I was also 'wiping' the bars before wrapping them. Heck - I

feel so " professional " now knowing that's what the bigs guys do too!!

Now - the next time hubby asks why in the world am I wiping off soap -

I'll just show him this message, and he won't think am that nuts after

all! LOL

Like the idea about the rubbing alcohol - thanks!
