Guest guest
Hi , In case you have not been scared enough, it is possible the dark urine is caused by blood in the urine and is unrelated to PSC. My completely healthy husband had cola colored urine about five years ago. He saw a urologist. His kidney X-ray was normal and the doc said that in 90% of cases the cause of bloody urine is never found and is benign-going away on its own. To be careful he did a cystoscopy (sp?) and found a varicose vein in the bladder, which probably caused the brown urine. Five days later the urine was normal and that was the end of it. So if you do not have chills and fever or other nasty symptoms, you might have blood in your urine. For those of you who met my husband in Pittsburgh, you now know something about him none of his friends know.
