Well I had an appointment with Dr. Forse last night. I have lost a

total of 121 pounds bringing me down to 159 pounds. I only have 9

pounds to go before I get to my personal goal of 150. It is hard

though, because the BMI charts put 150 at the high end of ideal, when

I would really like to be somewhere in the middle. I would have to

weigh 138 for that. I hope to get there, but if I only get to 150, I

will be extremely pleased with the results of my surgery.

As you all know, I have had an extremely difficult time of things

emotionally. I am happy to report, that with your support and the

support of many other friends, I am starting to pull through. It

took awhile, but I made some serious decisions that I hope will

better my mental state. I have been faithful about taking my

medication, I have gotten rid of the X completely no contact whatso

ever, and I have officially resigned from my day job. My last day at

work will be the 25th. I will then take a month off until

goes back to school at which time I will start job hunting/temping

again. The weight of these stresses being lifted off my chest is

undescribable. I feel at peace with my decisions and hope that I am

finally going to be on track and to stay there. I am finally making

ME a priority, something I haven't done for a while. Even while

thinking of surgery, I kept saying it was so could have a

normal Mom. That wasn't thinking of me either. It is about time I

put ME first. I am feeling better everyday.

Well, I just wanted to give you all an update. Dr. Forse doesn't

want to see me again until September, since everything is going so

well for me physically right now. I did speak to him about all that

I am going through and he agreed that taking a month off of the job

will do me wonders. It will give me some ME time. He said that is

very important, and I agree. I suppose that means it is Doctor

Recommended??? hehehe
