Guest guest
I was just put on Armour 1 1/2 weeks ago. I had to almost beg my doc for it. I would like to post my lab results and I hope someone will let me know if the ranges are correct. I thought the TSH range was ..3 to 3.0. units Range FT4 1.23 ng/dL [0.71 - 1.85] TSH 3.10 uIU/ml [0.49 - 5.07] T3Uptake 31 % [22-35] T4(Thyroxine) Total 8.7 mcg/dL [4.5 - 12.5] Free t4 Index(T7) 2.7 [1.4 - 3.8] I don't know what these mean. I've looked on the web but can't seem to find the same tests.

They are now 0.3 to 3.0 with anything over 2.0 needing further testing. You really need the Free T3 number so you can tell if your body is converting the T4 to T3 for you to use and your free T4 could be a little higher. You aren't quite at mid level and would probably feel better a lot closer to the upper end of the range. I didn't have to fight with my doc over the Armour, but I do have to argue with him over the blood work.
