Guest guest
Word Perfect or Word? If Word, then select your paragraph and go to Format/Paragraph. On the " Indents and Spacing " tab, you will see a drop-down list named Special. Select " hanging " from that drop-down list and right next to it you can enter how much of a hanging indent you want. If WP, I am totally clueless. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rennie My Home Page: http://www.renesue.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ WP Word help > This is my 1st day in this word processor. Guest guest
> This is my 1st day in this word processor. Could someone please tell me how to make a hanging indent. > You're asking about WordPerfect? You didn't mention what version, and the answer depends on the version. Basically, if you're using version 8, 9, or 10 for Windows, it's Ctrl + F7. If you're using 5.1 for DOS, key F7 then Shift + F7 to key the first line at the left margin and indent the second and succeeding lines. If you're using any other version, try the second method (F7 and Shift + F7) to see if it works. WordPerfect commands don't change much from version to version, although occasionally there is a change. If you're using any other version and that doesn't work, ask Help. Help is either F3 (if it has not been shifted to the " alternate keyboard " ) or F1 (if it has been shifted to the " alternate keyboard " ).
