Word Perfect or Word?

If Word, then select your paragraph and go to Format/Paragraph. On the " Indents

and Spacing " tab, you will see a drop-down list named Special. Select " hanging "

from that drop-down list and right next to it you can enter how much of a

hanging indent you want.

If WP, I am totally clueless.

You're asking about WordPerfect? You didn't mention what version,

and the answer depends on the version.

Basically, if you're using version 8, 9, or 10 for Windows, it's

Ctrl + F7. If you're using 5.1 for DOS, key F7 then Shift + F7 to

key the first line at the left margin and indent the second and

succeeding lines.

If you're using any other version, try the second method (F7 and

Shift + F7) to see if it works. WordPerfect commands don't change

much from version to version, although occasionally there is a

change.

If you're using any other version and that doesn't work, ask Help.

Help is either F3 (if it has not been shifted to the " alternate

keyboard " ) or F1 (if it has been shifted to the " alternate

keyboard " ).
