Guest guest
-----Original Message----- Lately, I have had a mildly sore throat...not really bad, but nagging. That concerns me, but not nearly as much as the fact that I'm ALWAYS getting choked. It seems if I turn my head wrong, I get choked on nothing. Has anyone else experienced this or is it related to something else. Thanks for the information. J. Hi J., I have noticed that as my Fibro gets worse, i do get choked more easily. It doesn't happen all the time, but fairly often. I read that choking easily can be a symptom of Fibro for some people. I've had for Fibro for years, but I am just learning how many different ways it can affect us. I've got a list as long as my arm lol. Take care! Guest guest
Hi, I'm 23 and I have had fibro since I was 15. I have also had a sore throat for eight years. The intensity of it comes and goes but usually it's pretty mild.

Guest guest
The sore throat no, the choking, yes. I almost choked to death on a pill that I was taking. Could not breathe. Finally shoved my fist in front of me hard, leaned over on my fists and the pill popped out. I am going to call my doctor next week and go see him because it not only hurts but it is a little scary. Take care, Irene > Lately, I have had a mildly sore throat...not really bad, but > nagging. > That concerns me, but not nearly as much as the fact that I'm ALWAYS > getting choked. Guest guest
have had sore throats on & off for about 5 yrs now. About a month ago it started again, didn't give it much thought.. by day two I was on my back, had a temp of 103 & for the first time in years my throat was badly infected, my tonsils were sitting on the back of my tongue. So always keep a check on these sore throats, it can be other then the fibro ouchie. As far as choking, have had this too. Also problems in swallowing, especially at night, could not sleep or be awoken with the feeling I could not swallow.
