0.9 x 70.4 kilos x 24 = 1520 calories for BMR

As she is a bit older (not sure if post menopausal, peri menipausal

or in menopause) her calories could be counted a little lower like at

0.8 kcal per kg per hour, however this is just BMR. In order to sit

and type and watch tv and sleep she needs to go by her RMR which

would be 500-600 calories more than BMR. I would add on say 500 or

400 considering the age factor. Putting her at an RMR of 1920-2020.

If she exercises she needs to determine her exercise level and add

calories accordingly from 300-600. If she wishes to lose weight a

200-500 a day deficit is healhty.
