Guest guest
Welcome to the group, Lathif We do not have any doctors on here. This is a patient support group, by patients for patients. However, I can tell you that having red blood cells in your urine is " normal " when you have IgA nephropathy, and there is no treatment for that. It would be better not to have IgA nephropathy at all, but once you know you have it, having blood in the urine is not really very important. More important if any protein in the urine, and also high blood pressure. Pierre IGA NEPHROPATHY- RBC IN URINE COMPLAINT > Dear Doctor, I have been suffering the RBC complaint in my urine from > three years, at first it was rbc-5-6, later it increased, there is > nother symptoms found in urine test and other special test, all other > results are negative, but the RBC problem still exists. Guest guest
Hi Lathif, Welcome to our group! I know you have already gotten some great replies, but I wanted to second that red blood cells is pretty normal with IgAN, and even though it can be alarming when it becomes visible blood, Pierre is correct in that it is protein that is of concern much more than red blood cells. We are a group of patients and support to patients who understand all you feel and are going through. Feel free to post any questions. Welcome again,
