Hello Dee & I didn't have a hand in 's decsion to be a donor, but everytime I talk to Drivers Education class I do to them. When I first starting this I thought I needed to tell them everything/lecture. It really is about interacting with the students by relating your story/other stories like 's, showing a brief video clip (youth oriented) and answering their questions. I like answering their questions the best, and if I get stumped I can always get the answers and reply back to the instructor to forward to the class. I really love volunteering for IDN (Iowa Donor Network) and will till my health limits it (long way off I hope). Dee, I can't thank you enough for your offer of a donation for Tony Harden who was born with Cystic Fibrosis and now listed for a double lung transplant in St. Louis. I'll get you an address once the fund gets set up at a local bank. I also will see

if I can link/email Tony & Willow's story when it is in our local newspaper. I talked with the editor yesterday and she is working on it and should be done within a couple weeks. God Bless you, Dee. , I live along the I-80 belt in Iowa, west of Bettendorf in the rural community of Tipton. I'm familiar with everything you mentioned in your email. We escaped the snow storm that raced eastward last week. My inlaws 100 miles to the south received 9 inches and we didn't have any. Our town is busying itself preparing for the annual Tour of Lights with horse drawn trolleys on December 9th. The families operating the trolleys are very special people and friends of mine. I'll be busy working with the community churches (11 in a community of 3000) preparing the Community Soup Supper. Always good to hear from someone that knows Iowa has more than cornfields & now ethenol plants to offer. Thanks.
