NO, IgAN is not a bacterial infection, so unless he has a separate Urinary track infection besides the IgAN, there is no cause for concern here. No, althought sperm and urine both travel through the urethra, the blood is only emitted in urine, not in sperm, therefore the medications would not be transmitted into your blood stream from sperm.
