NO, IgAN is not a bacterial infection, so unless he has a separate Urinary track

infection besides the IgAN, there is no cause for concern here. The blood in

urine with IgAN is not due to an active infection and is common with IgAN.

No, althought sperm and urine both travel through the urethra, the blood is only

emitted in urine, not in sperm, therefore the medications would not be

transmitted into your blood stream from sperm.
