Guest guest
Suzanne you're welcome. I know how it is to have questions and no answers. Yes I've had a great experience with CT so far. We go to the Paramus NJ location however Chase has been treated by 2 techs from Conn. Lynn and Jean. They come a few days a week to the NJ location. Lynn is very nice and friendly and too has been very professional. And I'd have to say both of them have always answered all of our questions and given us instructions. As I said maybe it's just chemistry with the person you saw. I would call and tell them you're not sure what to do yet but you'd like to get his measurements to help you make a final decision. I was thinking since your son is so mild and they're so experienced that probably just by looking at him they could tell he didn't need it. What did they recommend? Also I want to say you're so lucky with tort. that your son is so mild and has actually improved. I know from what I've been told and read in this group that if he's only 3.3mm that is great! Are his other measurements ok too? Chase is 17mm, 10mm and 6mm And he has really thick curly hair so it's not noticable at all. Without the measurements I might have thought oh it will get good enough on it's own. He started out with a perfect head when he was born. It was beautiful but because of the tort. by 1 1/2 months there was a small flat spot. I figured I'll just keep him off it and it'll get better. By 3 months it was awful. We went to Cranial Tech at 4 1/2 months and it was severe by then. As others we literrally watched his head flatten. We started OT when he was 3 1/2 months. With the measurements and the tort. we decided by late Dec. to band him and then lost 6 weeks on insurance stuff. and only got the band on 2/15 slightly over 6 monhts. With the DOCband he's absolutely fine. Does not mind it at all eat, sleeps and plays. The only difficulty I have is doing everything in the 1 free hour. We had our 1 week checkup and everything is great so far! Best of luck Sherry > > > > > > > > Hi all! > > > > > > > > Does anyone know where I can find the " range " for head > meaurements > > > > (severe, moderate, normal)?
